About
Summer 2021 | Rose | “Sweet Peach” |
Garden Edits was born out of that initiative. I’ve now become an avid gardener and I especially enjoy watching a garden transform just from growing the tiniest seeds imaginable.
This blog documents my journey, the things I’ve learnt, my failures and successes. I hope it can be a source of knowledge and inspiration and a safe space where others can feel empowered to embark upon and share their gardening journey.
How to navigate through the content
In an effort to easily find specific content in this blog using the search tool at the top of each page, I’ve opted for number referencing alongside blog titles. Each meteorological season has its own number identifier; so gardening activities or tasks relating to the summer season are within the “100” series, autumn season - “200”, winter season - “300” and spring season - “400”. This system will make it easier to track updates for specific activities across Garden Edits’ social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram and this blog website).
For example, the first blog related to pruning petunias is numbered 102 and the full title is 102 | Pruning Petunias. The update blog will be titled 102 | Pruning Petunias : Update 01. Any further updates regarding that specific blog entry will be 102 | Pruning Petunias : Update 02, 102 Pruning Petunias : Update 03, etc. There may be another blog about pruning petunias but it may relate to a completely different project at a different time so it will have its own reference number. For example 157 | Pruning Petunias. By using its reference number, you will be able to find all updates (if any) that relate to that specific project.
A keyword search will bring up all relevant blogs related to it which is another way to find what you’re looking for.
Lastly, each blog is assigned with labels which can be found at the bottom of the post. Clicking on a label will take you to a search results page displaying all blog posts with the same label.
